What happened to the uploads folder? I put photos in there now and they never upload! I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, disabling, reenabling photo syncing and messed with settings on my iPhone! This was working fine until recently. Since the iPhone creates several copies of the same image These images don't always work well with Windows Photo App and all three versions will download to your computer. Error Pain in the neck downloading if the files are there at all! I prefer the windows photo app to download pictures to my PC. The photo app can download in folders by date and other options. This app downloads everything in one big folder, download icloud for pc.
The setup notes indicate you can download by year, but that option doesn't work in Windows I tried it and didn't fit my need. I've uninstall it since and will continue to use the Photo App. The iCloud app would not upload my photos from the phote stream, despite being marked. The remaining photos are stuck in "syncing" status. When I try to manually open a photo, I get error: "0xAA: The cloud operation was not completed before the time-out period expired".
